Application for Undergraduate programs

• Under the age of 45 with good heath
• Holding senior high school graduation diploma at least (presentation of the documents and transcript is required)
• Pass the major test and oral Chinese interview held by the applied department
• Documents Submissions: Application Form of the China Women’s University, resume, degree certificate and diploma (the original documents are required upon registration, the enrollment certificate from the school is required for currently enrolled senior school students)

Application for general scholar and Chinese language student programs

• Under the age of 50 with good heath, holding senior high school graduation diploma at least (for general scholar)
• Document Submissions: Application Form of the China Women’s University, resume, final degree certificate and diploma (the original documents are required upon registration, the enrollment certificate from the school is required for currently enrolled senior school students)

Application for short-term programs

• Age from 18 to 50 with good heath
• Time: annual summer vacation (during the term, mid-course students are acceptable)
• Document Submissions: Application Form of the China Women’s University, resume
• Class arrangement: 20 teaching hours per week from Monday to Friday 08:00-12:00 during summer vacation. Free activities are available in the afternoon and weekend.
• Courses: intensive reading, extensive reading, listening comprehension, video, writing and composition, grammar, Chinese painting, etc.
• Level: elementary, intermediary, advanced

• Matriculation:

Upon verification, our school will send out “Visa Application Form for Study in China” (JW202) and “University Admission Notice” to the accepted students before January 31(spring) or July 31(autumn). Holders of the above-mentioned two documents and heath examination certificate are supposed to apply for the Students Visa at the nearest Chinese Embassy or Chinese Consulate.

• Health Examination

Foreign students who will study over half a year should have a health examination before entering China and submit standard health examination forms to the university (available at the Embassy or the Consulate). Students who apply for an X visa in China or abroad, must have a health examination at BeijingHealthCenter.

• Registration

Applicants are supposed to hold the original documents of “Visa Application Form for Study in China” (JW202), “University Admission Notice”, health examination forms and 8 passport-sized photos to China Women’s University for registration formalities on the prescribed date.

• Study Insurance

If the applicants are insured with Overseas Insurance before entering China, the presentation of the original documents is required upon registration. If not, Accident Insurance and Hospitalization Insurance are required to be purchased immediately at the student’s expense.
